With the guidance of God–fearing parents, consistent prayer and love, Doris was baptized at the young age of ten under the leadership of the late Dr. Lulu Jackson (Pentecostal Assembly Church). And with mature understanding she later received the gift of the Holy Ghost at the age of nineteen.

As a young spiritual minded deaconess (1989), God continued to move and abide in her quickly and expound in her calling- Minister (1990), State Evangelist (1999), District Elder (2000) and Associate Pastor (2000) all under the umbrella of Faith Apostolic Church, Incorporated where Honorable Bessie Hardy is the Presiding Overseer and Pastor of Greater Emmanuel Church.

Duly being installed Associated Pastor on October 21, 2007 the community knows Elder Robertson to be a devoted worker in the body of Christ and she has served in many capacities such as; Vice-President of the Young People Ministry, Church Secretary, Choir Director, Assistant Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher and Praise Team Leader just to name a few. Currently employed with the Southbury Training School (STS) for the past 24 years; God has allowed the opportunity for the door to be opened and the ministry was given the chance to minister to the women and men of STS. Such success has lead her to bringing the ministry nationwide on 1530WDJZ Radio in Bridgeport, CT (A community Christian radio station) for over 7 years. As an anointed prayer warrior she also formed a Prayer Line across six domestic states and God’s given grace to open a Bible school to teach those biblical principles

On September 2010 God elevated Pastor Doris Robertson to pastoralship. Her endeavor is to consistently live in the presence of GOD.  Holding on to the concrete words of the LORD to her- I will fortify you, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it’ Matthew 16:18.
